The Secure Quantum Communications (SQC) School  is a week-long programme on theoretical and experimental aspects of quantum communications that aims to provide high-level training to a limited number of Master’s level and PhD students.

The school includes lectures from nine specialist speakers in the field as well as a poster session where the participants can present and discuss their own research. It will bring together experts from several institutions and universities, and it will be a great opportunity for all participants to meet and share ideas with other researchers in the field.

The school will take place in the beautiful city of Baiona, in the Hotel Parador de Baiona, and we plan to organise some social activities to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the amazing surroundings.

Here, you can obtain more information on how to get to Baiona, the accommodation, and the tuition fees for the event . To apply for the school, please fill out the application form. The deadline for applications is 31st of January 2018. You will be notified by email about the admission decisions by the beginning of February.

QCALL kick off meeting, 20 October 2017

We are excited that most of the ESRs and supervisors in the QCALL network will come together for the official kick off meeting which is happening in Leeds on 20th October. We are a big group across 9 different organizations and  this is a great opportunity for everyone in the network to get to know each other face to face.  ESRs would learn about others’ expertise and research interests,  receive feedback on their work, and eventually  build relationships for future collaborations.
